The false pepper tree or Schinus Molle is native to the Central Andes, found mainly in Chile, Bolivia and Peru.
They are trees approximately 6 to 8 meters high and their trunk can measure 50 cm in diameter.
It is a species tolerant to drought and high temperatures, long-lived, resistant and perennial, although frost can be its weakness.
Here we leave you a sequence of our day of seed collection, and subsequent creation of new seedbeds in the nursery for their expected germination. On this day, more than 1,000 pepper seeds were planted and we hope that they will soon be essential in our reforestation work.
